New Years Day Gift
While practicing 108 Sun Salutations on January 1, 2021, this Coopers Hawk decided to perch on the fence outside our house and watch. He must have been as surprised as I was – watching me greet the New Year, while I watched him stare back at me.
We’ve seen him/her frequently in our yard, hunting the finches, juncos and bush tits that feed in our gardens. As he wanders in and out of the area, he is a wonder to behold.
